In today’s society we have become very skilled at multi-tasking and functioning on “auto-pilot”. Many of us are in survival mode - just trying to get through the day. Our culture of checking out contributes to various physical and mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, depression and PTSD. Our bodies are meant to move, stretch and be lived in!
Movement offers a path to unite the mind, body and soul, counteracting the numerous demands of daily life. A regular movement practice increases mental clarity and physical agility while reducing stress, tension and inflammation (among many other things!).
I am a Registered Nurse, movement coach and yoga instructor. I understand the human body and how it works. I’ve created a proprietary way of using movement to decrease anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, etc., and increasing your mind body connection, while building strength, flexibility and a greater sense of empowerment.
I guide you through mindful movement, teaching you what muscles to activate and why. I strive to create positive experiences in a supportive and uplifting environment. Working together we can release tension and trauma from your body!
I provide online private movement lessons, live online Group Coaching and Private and Semi-Private Stand-up Paddle board (SUP) Yoga instruction in Salt Lake City, UT and the surrounding areas.
