My Philosophy
Movement is for Everyone
In today’s society we have become very skilled at multitasking, functioning on “auto-pilot”. Many of us are in survival mode - just trying to get through the day. Our culture of checking out contributes to various physical & mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, depression & PTSD. Our bodies are meant to move, stretch & be lived in!
Playful Movements offer pathways to unite the mind, body & soul, counteracting the numerous demands of daily life. A regular fun movement practice increases mental clarity & physical agility while reducing stress, tension & inflammation (among many other things!).
I am an Intuitive Movement Coach, Registered Nurse, Advanced Trauma Informed Yoga Instructor & Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Instructor who understands the human body & how it works. I help people relieve stress, anxiety, depression & trauma through play, movements & imagination so they can have more joy & peace in their lives.
I guide you through creative, playful movements, teaching you what muscles to activate & why. I also provide vivid imagery and creative suggestions to help you get out of your daily routine. I strive to create positive experiences in a supportive and uplifting setting. Working together we can release tension and trauma from your body!
I provide live online SoulFlow Intuitive Movement classes, M.O.V.E, online private coaching, and Private and Semi-Private Stand-up Paddle board (SUP) Yoga instruction in Salt Lake City, UT and the surrounding areas.
